DataProphet is proud to announce that it was selected as one of the 25 finalists for the Fast Company 2020 Most Innovative Companies.
Fast Company South Africa launched its inaugural innovation awards on the 5th March in Cape Town, alongside a conference exploring how innovation can support South Africa to achieve its National Development Plan 2030 goals.
DataProphet PRESCRIBE, which works to optimize the hundreds to thousands of process parameters that govern the quality of a manufactured good, was recognized for its innovation. AI, specifically the Deep Learning core of our product, enables our solution to continuously monitor and then prescribe optimal changes to the control plan of a manufacturing plant to preemptively avoid quality failures.
We have enabled gray iron foundries to reduce defects down to 0% for periods of up to three months and to reduce them by 40% over the long term, saving the average foundry over $1 million a year. This same solution has been applied in mineral processing, steel and aluminum milling, automotive manufacturing, and food processing, with similar results.
“The entries we consider for publication as the most innovative company of the year, are always of a high quality, interesting and inventive. This year was no exception,” said editor in chief, Wesley Diphoko.
